Yes, climate change is one of the three mega-trends (or great filters) that are converging NOW! But the rise of unregulated AI and non-cooperating and bickering humans, also represent big threats to humanity. A ‘great filter’ is a hurdle or obstacle that hinders intelligent life from flourishing.

Climate change and human non-cooperation weakens humanity’s collective response to AI. AI gains strength, connects to critical human systems such as energy production, transportation, health care, and financial systems, and waits for the opportune time to take over control of earth’s biosphere. We must protect our species and our home planet!
